Welcome to Jotta ("the App"), a productivity app designed to help you track habits, write notes, and manage tasks. This Privacy Policy explains how we ("we", "our", "us"), collect, use, and protect your information when you use Jotta. By using Jotta, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide: When you create an account, we collect: • Name • Email address • Password (securely encrypted) When you use the App, we collect the content you create: • Notes entries • Habits and habit tracking data • Tasks and to-do lists I do not collect: • Health-related data • Photos or media (at this time) • Device information • IP addresses • Location data

We use your information to: • Create and manage your account • Save and sync your notes, habits, and tasks • Send push notifications related to your activity (reminders, streaks, etc.) • Send important emails about policy updates or account-related matters • Improve the App experience

Jotta uses the following third-party services: Firebase - Push notifications Google Sign-In - Account authentication We do not use advertising networks, and we do not share your data with any other third parties.

• Your data is stored securely in cloud databases • All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption • Your password is encrypted at rest (other data is stored in its functional form to enable app features) • We do not automatically collect device information or analytics

• We retain your data for as long as your account is active • If you delete your account, your data remains for 90 days • If you do not reactivate within 90 days, all your data is permanently deleted • You can delete your account from within the App's settings.

You have the right to: • Access your data at any time through the App • Export your data into a portable format • Request deletion of your data (account deletion as described above) • Contact us with privacy concerns To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the About page within the App.

Jotta is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, please contact us.

We do not: • Sell your data to third parties • Share your data with marketing companies • Share your data with any third parties except as necessary for core functionality (Firebase for notifications, Google for sign-in) I may disclose your information only if required by law or to protect my legal rights.

Jotta is available globally. By using the App, you consent to your data being stored and processed in the countries where our servers are located. We strive to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of location.

Push Notifications: We send notifications related to your habits, tasks, and streaks. You can manage these in your device settings. Emails: We send important emails about policy changes or account matters. You cannot opt out of these essential communications.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
